Calling All CERT Graduates! Come out to enhance your ability to support your Community and the LAFD. Call-Out Team Training will give you the knowledge and skills necessary to be part of the response side of the LAFD CERT Program. Topics covered will include various types of CERT Call-Out Functions, Radio Etiquette, Fire Station Familiarization and Call-Out Dispatch Procedures. Take your CERT Training To The Next Level, and stay actively involved with your Community Emergency Response Team and the LAFD. LAFD CERT Call-out Team Requirements Each CERT Call-Out Team member shall: 1. Have completed 17.5 Hours of CERT Basic Training and received Certificate of completion. 2. Be at least 18 years old. 3. Have a Volunteer Enrollment Form on file. (IF ALREADY DONE, PLEASE DISREGARD) 4. Have a signed copy of LAFD Volunteer Acknowledgement of Policies on file. (FOUND IN LINK BELOW) 5. Sign up online on the form at http://www.cert-la.com/call-out-register.htm 6. Complete: The Call-Out Training Class (given by the LAFD CERT Unit) IS100 - Introduction to Incident Command System IS200 - ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents IS700 - National Incident Management System (NIMS) - An Introduction IS315: CERT Supplemental Training: The Incident Command System 7. Submit your certificates for review and acceptance. If you are accepted, you will be sworn in as a Disaster Service Worker. 8.
