FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2017 @ 11:59p at the Vista Theater (4473 Sunset Dr. LA, CA 90027) THE GODFATHER PT 1 (35mm; Paramount archive print) That’s right. The great Francis Ford Coppola epics starting at midnight! This is hard core cinema. You went crazy for it when we suggested it. So we thought. . .F@!k it. Let’s do it. First off, the Godfather Pt 1 on one of Paramount’s 35mm archive prints. The movie that made Coppola, Pacino, Duvall, James Caan, John Cazale, Diane Keaton, the 1970’s. Marlon Brando, in the title role, proving, yet again, he is one of our national treasures. If you want to see how great acting can transport you to realms of emotion you never thought possible, see this movie. Are you ready the horse’s head. . .the restaurant assassination. . .the baptism and blood scene. . .This movie is pretty much the Rosetta stone for so much great cinema that came after it. Drink your coffee, gird your loins, and come celebrate one of the greatest movies of all time on 35mm in a great LA theater with an awesome audience. Just remember, our best deal will always be the month-long passes which gets you into every movie for that month then the individual early bird tickets. We only have a set amount of each so once we sell out of those, the remaining tickets are set at our regular (but still hopefully awesome) budget, student, and adult donation rates. So let’s celebrate November, Coppola, and cinema in style! See you there. best always, Craig Hammill 35mm Secret Movie Club Programmer.Organizer TICKETS: Tickets are available online at Eventbrite.com or through each individual event on our Facebook Page: movieclub35mm.
