Overview A structured talent development programme is a huge investment and it is always limited to a few MNCs in the past for their selected talents. Today with the presence of open content and open source, organisations have option to customise its own talent development programme for business success. This workshop helps SME owners and HR managers to leverage on online contents and to unpack the pedagogy of blended learning environments for talent development. Studies show that up to 70% of employers and managers still distrust the efficacy of self-paced eLearning program. This workshop guides corporate trainers and SME business owners through the principles of technology-enabled learning. It explains how technology-enabled learning could be blended with face-to-face discussion and coaching, and to be supported by open source Learning Management System (LMS). Prior to that, he worked in Thomson Reuters for 10 years involving in the business of Intellectual Properties & Science for Asia Pacific region. His consultancy work focuses in three areas: Research Excellence, Innovation Outreach and Competency of Future Professionals. He holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science & Technology from the University of Manchester, UK, and MBA from Louisville University, Kentucky, USA.
