Here and around the world, it's been a trying year in many ways. So we're gathering our community to raise the vibrations for one morning, out in the sunshine at Bergamot Station Art Center's outdoor courtyard. This is a donation event ~ with 100% of proceeds going to the Red Cross. Bring a friend, or make a new one there, as we flow and connect through a one hour yoga practice that includes partner poses. Ashley Rideaux of YogaWorks will lead class, with uplifting sounds by BENDER's resident DJ ~ played over Sound Off wireless headphones. Then we’ll wind down with 30 minutes of guided breath work and meditation to create peace within, and send out some healing vibrations. Stay after class to explore the galleries at Bergamot Station. DETAILS: Doors open 930am // Class starts 10am Class uses glowing Sound Off Headphones. These let you hear the teacher's voice at the perfect level -- while blocking outside noises, and fully immersing you in the experience. FREE parking in the Bergamot Station lot and/or the surrounding streets. After class, refresh with complimentary GTs kombucha, and tour dozens of art galleries showcasing diverse colections -- from traditional to contemporary. *** Please bring water & your YOGA MAT ** ABOUT Bergamot Station is a campus-like complex that has retained its industrial and rustic look, held its official opening on September 17, 1994. Since then, it has become a popular destination for visitors from around the country and the world. Bergamot Station provides a central location which allows visitors to park in one place and spend the day seeing art, rather than spending time driving from one gallery to the next. It now appears in every guide to Los Angeles as a primary cultural destination, with well over 600,000 visitors each year.
