Regardless of status and maturity, all of us worry. Some folks worry more than others. So why do ordinary folks struggle with worry? This workshop aims to increase awareness about the common worry conditions one tends to experience either consciously or non-consciously. These worries can affect our daily functions such as work, school, social activities, and relationships. Worry, makes the individual feel uneasy or troubled, especially in today's environment that is Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA). The daily newspapers and the internet keep swirling such information at us, re-enforcing relentlessly more negative news than good news, enough to wear out the strongest and fittest amongst us. It steals our peace and no wonder Worry wears us physically and mentally and eventually makes us sick. So, do you have physical symptoms like restlessness, difficulty concentrating, edginess, irritability, muscle tension, poor sleep, and tiredness? If so, how then should we deal with Worry? Here are 3 proven practical techniques to help you Transform Yourself from a Worrier into a Warrior. Let's journey together to find the roots of worry and then apply the 3 vital techniques so we can evict this 'uninvited guest' from our minds. DISCUSSION TOPICS: 1. WORRY - THE UNINVITED GUEST 2. YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH WORRY 3. THREE VITAL TECHNIQUES TO TRANSFORM A WORRIER TO A WARRIOR 4. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT - HOW TO SUSTAIN A WARRIOR'S MENTALITY OVER WORRY?
