Join Advance Diversity Services, Surf Life Saving and Bayside Council on a day of information sharing, activities and demonstrations on how to be safe around water. This event is for families and people who are Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and is free of charge with lunch provided. Bring your family and friends along with you and participate in this half day event where you will learn how to be safe around water especially since summer is just around the corner and you will be heading down to the beach with family and friends. If you are parents; this is a great opportunity to ensure that your children are aware of the dangers around water on Asutralian beaches, swimming pools, lakes and rivers. So come along, enjoy and learn life skills in a fun way. FAQs What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? If you are driving, there is parking at the Venue. However we strongly suggest that you get there early as parking spaces run out easily in this area. There is however a bus stop close by and if you are planning to use public transport this could be a good option. What can I bring into the event? You dont have to bring anything but we suggest you bring, a bottle of water, a hat and sunscreen lotion. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? You do not need to bring your printed ticket but try to let us know about the number of participants when regsitering for catering purposes. Once you get to the venue we will get everyone to register in paper. Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? There is no registration fee. The event is free. You can transfer the ticket but everyone will have to register at the event. Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes, thats fine.
