The RLS Young Artists Scene Study class is an industry staple for the training of the Young Artist, ages 6 through 17. Scene Study is an important aspect in the consummate training of the actor. It is a great tool for helping the young artist get to know themselves. Just as pianists, dancers, and other artists spend countless hours working on their craft, it is equally important that the Actor develop that same discipline. It is an important component for the Young artist to learn to work with others, develop knowledge of his/her casting, and explore material that challenges and empowers them. The young artist, through exploring other characters gets to know him/herself at a time when it is critical to begin looking at who and what the young artist is and wants to become.
