About Jim: Jim Reeves is a mentor with CRL with extensive experience in managing product innovation. Jim Co-Invented and developed GravityLight: an innovative and technically demanding lighting solution for the World’s off-grid population. Jim co-founded and led the organisation as Technical Director and Design Lead from concept to delivery. Before founding GravityLight, Jim worked as a product design consultant with a range of businesses, large and small, at therefore design consultants in London. Overseeing and delivering projects from initial scoping, through prototype, productionisation, design for manufacture / assembly, supplier selection, standards compliance and distribution. About Mat: Mat leads CRL’s team in developing our programmes and shaping long-term strategy. His career has focused on design-led innovation across a number of fields; firstly at global innovation consultants IDEO, in both San Francisco and London, developing digital products, services and strategies, then as Chief Design Officer at the UK Design Council.
